Delete your mobile app account

Written by NetCaptain HQ

This article is for players and parents using the NetCaptain mobile app. Deleting your account is permanent and takes effect immediately. If you only want a break, use Sign out instead; your account stays intact and you can sign back in any time.

Steps

  1. Open the NetCaptain app and sign in.

  2. Go to the Profile tab.

  3. Tap Delete account.

  4. Read the confirmation carefully, then tap Delete to confirm. The alert states exactly what will happen before anything is deleted.

That's it. Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out.

What gets deleted

  • Your NetCaptain account and sign-in.

  • Your personal data held against the account, including your profile details and your RSVP and notification history.

This cannot be undone. If you want to use NetCaptain again later, you will need to join again with a fresh join code or invite from your club, as a new account.

What your club keeps

Your club keeps its own roster record of you as a player. That record belongs to the club, not to your NetCaptain account, so deleting your account does not remove it. If you want the club's record removed as well, ask your club directly; coaches have a control for this in the club console.

If you manage children on your account

If you are the only guardian answering for a child on your account, and that child has no login of their own, the confirmation names them before you delete. Deleting your account means nobody can answer for them in the app. They stay on their club's roster; if this happens by mistake, contact the club named in the confirmation and they can set it right.
