Sessions
This is where your club's real sessions live, and you didn't create any of them by hand. NetCaptain builds every one automatically, straight off the back of your dates and training days.
Each row is a session. You can see the date and time, the squad, the venue and how many nets, and when it auto-generates, which is its RSVP cutoff. You'll also see how many players have replied and how many are coming, updating as they RSVP.
Sessions are colour-coded by squad, so they're easy to tell apart.
Need a session that's not part of your regular training? Add one with Add once-off.
Editing a session
Any time before a session's cutoff, click Edit setup to customise everything about that night:
Date and time.
Session timing. These are your blocks of training, like a warm up, net session and warm down. Rename them, remove them, or reorder them and move them to the start or end.
Venue and mode. These come pre-filled from your training slot, so they're already your usual setup, but you can change them just for that night. Switch the venue (say to your synthetic ground), or change the mode to Nets, Centre wicket, or both.
Areas. Deselect any nets you're not using, so only the ones you want are included that night.
Format. Choose how the session runs: One group (everyone bats, bowls and fields together), Two groups (one bats while the other bowls, swapping once), or Three groups (one bats, one bowls, one fields, swapping twice).
How. Fine-tune the detail: how many batters per net (one or two), and how the bowling is spread across the nets. Auto lets NetCaptain sort it, Split separates your pace and spin bowlers, and Manual lets you set it yourself. You can also turn on Mix grades, so each net has an even spread of your grades.
RSVP cutoff. This is inherited from your training slot, but you can tweak it here.
Make your changes and hit Save session.
Calendar
The Calendar shows your whole club's real sessions, a month at a glance. You can see everything that's coming up and flick between months.
