Part 2 - Run a Session: Your Schedule

Written by Matthew Bremner

Review your session schedule

Once your RSVP cutoff passes, NetCaptain builds your session for you. Open it from the Sessions screen by clicking Review draft to see your schedule.

Attendance

Click the Attendance tab to see exactly who's coming, along with any limits your players have, such as arriving late, leaving early, or a cap on their bowling. NetCaptain takes all of this into account when it builds your schedule.

The advisor

NetCaptain checks every session and shows you a simple traffic light:

  • Red means there's something to fix. You can still publish if you want to.

  • Amber means there might be a few things worth checking.

  • Green means you're perfect and ready to go.

If there's an issue, the advisor suggests how to fix it, for example splitting your squad into two groups, or using fewer nets. Pick the option that suits and click Use this, and NetCaptain rebuilds your schedule instantly.

The schedule

Your schedule is laid out net by net and rotation by rotation. NetCaptain handles the real-world details for you. Players who arrive late or leave early are only in the nets while they're there, and anyone with a bowling cap won't be overbowled.

Moving players

You've got full control. To move a player, click on them and swap them into another net. NetCaptain updates everything around them, and you can undo any change in a click.
